Floristic findings in the Kabardino-Balkar Republic (Central Caucasus)

The article presents information on floristic findings in the Kabardino-Balkari Republic. As a result of expedition research 2020-2021 and inventory studies Herbarium Tembotov Institute Ecology Mountain Territories RAS, we revealed nine species new to Kabardino-Balkar Republic locations ten vascular plants species. Species region flora were Carex acuta , Genista angustifolia Amorpha fruticosa Ambrosia psilostachya Mercurialis annua Echinocystis lobata Phlomis majkopensis Cleistogenes squarrosa, Bidens frondosa . New seven identified for Balkarskiy region. These three native ( flacca subsp. erythrostachys C. songorica Eriophorum latifolium ) four alien Oenothera biennis Elsholtzia ciliata Sigesbeckia orientalis, ). elongata squarrosa Amaranthus albus Acer negundo Tsentralno-Elbrusskiy Kabardinskiy regions, respectively. We also found rare steppe Glaucium corniculatum Tursko-Sunzhensky provided data indicating coordinates locations, habitat preferences, distribution Caucasus according earlier literary sources.
